Partnering with School Districts
When a child is no longer reaching their fullest potential in the local school district due to severe emotional and/or behavioral issues, school districts explore other solutions for the child and may refer them to New Story.
We work closely with local school districts to determine the best solution for each child. We develop curriculum and support programs to meet their individual needs. Our goal is to teach children the necessary social, behavioral and educational skills they need to be successful in life – and return them to their home school as quickly as possible.
New Story will collaborate with your child's IEP team once it has been decided that an out-of-district placement is necessary.
