Summer Camp Programs
New Story operates therapeutic camps during the summer months throughout Pennsylvania. Our camps are designed to meet the needs of children with the most serious and/or complex behavioral challenges. New Story provides a day camp experience offering traditional recreational and social activities found at other summer camps, but within a therapeutic environment to support each child’s continued growth and development.
Teams of skilled professionals deliver an Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) based program to improve communication and foster social skills in an interactive and creative environment. Clinical interventions focus on guiding and nurturing socialization and imagination.
New Story camp locations offer Summer Therapeutic Activity Programs (STAP) for children with Autism Spectrum Diagnosis (ASD) or developmental delays, and/or Therapeutic Activity Programs (TAP) for children with behavioral diagnoses. Both STAP and TAP are 5 to 10 week programs that run during the summer months.
Enrollment at New Story camps are limited.
